Who We Are
I founded Seven Feathers in 2026. I'm an Alawa / Mara man whose family lineage and roots begin in the Roper River region of the Northern Territory, but I was born and raised here in South Australia.
After more than 15 years dedicated to improving outcomes for service users, through frontline service delivery, designing programs, shaping policy, strengthening organisational capability, and leading large-scale reform, my focus has remained constant: ensuring systems work better for the people they exist to serve.
This commitment is the fire that burns the heart of Seven Feathers and fundamentally underpins its foundations.
Seven Feathers exists to help organisations navigate complexity through collaborative strategy and partnership leading to lasting impact.
Track Record
Led the design and delivery of South Australia's first Aboriginal Early Childhood Workforce Strategy (2025–2027), backed by $5.8 million in state investment. This included building entry pathways, grant programs and Aboriginal Cultural Safety Training Frameworks, and presenting directly to Community and Ministers.
Coordinated and oversaw grant and procurement processes ranging from $10k to $490k, within program budgets of $5M+, working through government financial delegation and approval frameworks.
Managed stakeholder engagement across two major South Australian education reform programs, the '1 in 4' Reforms and the Behaviour Support Reforms, comprising 22 discrete projects and a stakeholder network of 100+ individuals across 20+ directorates, divisions and external associations.
Redesigned the Department for Child Protection's Aboriginal Impact Statement process, responding to Nyland Royal Commission Recommendation 188, replacing an 11-page process with a 2-page process and an automated workflow tool.
Ran a First Nations Desktop Audit that lifted identified Aboriginal Nation data in the state's child protection system from 5% to 59% known.
Built South Australia's inaugural Public Transport Diversity and Inclusion Framework and Targeted Action Plans, the first of their kind for public transport in the state.
Acted as South Australia's main contact and data manager throughout the state's transition from state-based disability care to the Commonwealth NDIS.
A 15-year career grounded from 2011 in direct-service youth work and mentoring, before moving into policy and systems leadership.
That track record is the proof. What sits underneath it is a set of beliefs I bring to every engagement.
I believe the most effective outcomes are born from strong connection, deep listening and collaborative engagement.
I work where policy, people and systems intersect, bringing together diverse perspectives to create solutions that are culturally informed, evidence-based and achievable.
While Seven Feathers is a proudly Aboriginal-owned South Australian business, our work extends well beyond cultural advice.
We specialise in helping organisations make better decisions, build stronger partnerships and deliver meaningful, lasting change.
